In 2021 I was a Global Information Engagement Program (GIEP) fellow and a member of a student panel focused on best practices for engagement with partner organizations.
In 2022 my teammate and I presented at the UMSI Student Project Virtual Exposition, and I gave a talk at the UM Weinberg Institute’s Graduate School Preparation Event.
Personal interests
Outside of work and academics, I enjoy cinema and performing. In 2015 my classmates and I submitted a short film to the Ypsi 24-Hour Film Shootout, in 2018 I trained in beginner improvisational comedy, and in 2019 I provided French translation and narration for an independent short called "Octopus Cagefight" by local filmmakers.
Additionally, I love to travel and I have had the great privilege of living in the USA, Europe and East Asia.
Lastly, I’m a big fan of David Lynch; I created an alphabet poster about his filmography using Illustrator, and in 2021 I presented on the design elements in his works to my colleagues.
